When your pet needs urgent care, every minute matters. Our doctors and staff are available to provide emergency medical care during our regular business hours. Outside of our hours, we recommend contacting the facilities below.

Recognizing a Pet Emergency

Not every health concern requires a trip to an emergency clinic, but some situations cannot wait. Seek immediate veterinary care if your pet is experiencing any of the following:

Difficulty breathing, choking, or persistent coughing
Suspected poisoning or ingestion of a toxic substance
Uncontrolled or severe bleeding
Seizures, collapse, or loss of consciousness
Inability to stand or sudden loss of coordination
Severe vomiting or diarrhea, especially with blood
Suspected broken bones or traumatic injury
Eye injuries of any kind
Suspected bloat or severe abdominal distension
Straining to urinate with little or no output
Pale, white, blue, or gray gums
Extreme lethargy or unresponsiveness

If your pet is showing any of these signs, do not wait for a scheduled appointment. Call us immediately if we are open, or proceed directly to an emergency facility if it is after hours.
