AAHA Certified

American_Animal_Hospital_Association_AAHA_corporate_logoAAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices throughout North America. Practices that accept the challenge of accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of pet care – ranging from patient care and pain management, to team training and medical record-keeping. The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are continuously updated to keep accredited practices at the forefront of veterinary medicine and advanced business practices.

Today, approximately 12% of veterinary practices in North America hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation. Accreditation through AAHA helps veterinary practices operate at a high level and enhances their ability to provide excellent patient care. Visit AAHA website ⇒

Fear Free Certified

fearfreeHere at Lake Anna Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to be Fear Free certified.

Fear Free certified was developed by “America’s Veterinarian,” Dr. Marty Becker, to assist your pet in no longer fearing the veterinarian’s office. It is a gentle approach used in a calming environment. Utilization of Fear Free methods and protocols lead to the reduction or elimination of anxiety triggers. This creates an experience that rewards your pet.

The result of Fear Free is more accepting patients, more compliant clients, and overall better veterinary care. We have found that it has been a great asset to our patients and our practice.

Our entire staff is dedicated to assisting your pet. We understand that coming to the veterinarian’s office is typically not an animal’s favorite thing to do. That is why we are so excited to be Fear Free certified so that we can assist your pet in staying healthy.

We are always available to answer your questions. There is never a question that is too silly for us. We never want you to be confused when you leave our office.

If you have any questions regarding our Fear Free certification, contact us today at (540) 894-4572. We look forward to serving you!
